Welcome to the Table.
Sometimes the best conversations happen around the kitchen table. Meals can be eaten on the couch or crumbled through the house. Coffee can be slammed into a tumbler as you fly out the door and into the car.
But when people gather at the table, there’s a deeper sense of intentionality — of purpose. It’s where fellowship begins and connection grows.
In most homes, the table is the heart of it all. It’s where pictures are drawn, schoolwork is done, projects are made, laughs are shared, and hearts are poured out. It’s where life happens — messy, meaningful, and full of grace.
And here’s the truth: it’s okay if your table isn’t Instagram-ready.
It’s okay if every chair doesn’t match, or if the place settings aren’t laid out perfectly.
Because the beauty of the table isn’t in how it looks — it’s in who gathers around it.
This is how we do life together as a family: imperfect, present, and rooted in love.
We’re writing this at our own table — one we’ve recently mostly finished revitalizing. We’re sitting in chairs that are sturdy but not all redone yet. There’s a paint project on one end, a high chair tucked nearby, and the computer open in front of us. We’re still eating dinner here, even with the mess, the clutter, and the life happening all around it. And that’s the point — fellowship doesn’t wait for perfection. It happens right where we are.
Acts 2:42–47 paints this picture of the early church — believers gathering daily, breaking bread together, learning, giving, praying, and rejoicing with glad and sincere hearts. The Christian life was never meant to be a solitary process. We are called to walk alongside each other, to be involved in the daily lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Arrow & Roots Coffee Co. was born out of that same desire — for grounded and purposeful fellowship, for discipleship, for living with intentionality. As valuable as good coffee is, it isn’t about the coffee itself. It’s about the heart behind it — the intentionality we bring to every cup we brew, reflecting the same care and purpose we want to live out as believers rooted in Christ.
“Having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.”
— Colossians 2:7 (NASB)
Even in the chaos, this is where we’ll have friends and family over. The house won’t be perfect, and the projects won’t all be done — but we’ll welcome them to our table. We’ll welcome them to fellowship. That’s what we’re about. That’s where we want to roll out our welcome mat to you — to invite you into that same fellowship.
The table is where we meet one another as we are — with open hands and sincere hearts — and where we walk together in faith and friendship. We want to invite you to do the same: to fellowship with your family, your community, and with us.
So here we are — rolling out our welcome mat.
Let’s walk together, rooted and grounded in Christ.
Join us. Pour a cup. Stay grounded. Live boldly.
